HOW TO GET GOOD MARKS IN CBSE CLASS XII
To get good marks in CBSE class XII one must follow few tips about how one should study to gain maximum knowledge from his school and from his book the books may be CBSE books or NCRT books. The student are of two type one is “marks-centric students" and other is knowledge-seeking students. in CBSE Class XII both type of student can get good marks by following the rule define below.
Always be punctual and regular
Take all the classes of your CBSE class XII in your school and coaching class if so. It is the most essential pre-requisite for learning. You cannot get away with this. You can miss extremely important points even by leaving a single class. And in emergency if you have to miss the class plane the topic which will be missed by you before taking the leave.
Always make Notes
Take down notes as much as possible in class and Try to write each and verything teacher utters in the class. There are certain things in CBSE class XII which teachers love to mention again and again. These are the things which you should know very well. In CBSE class XII there are lots of points which a student forget during the examination to get better memory make a question of such thinks and write the answer of this doing this will increase the memory for the particular topics. And try to marks important points by different color pen this will focus the point which are important for CBSE class XII .Taking notes is important because thats what you will need to learn. Even if you are that kind of student who is not interested in studies, you should make notes because they will be very beneficial in your CBSE class XII.
Read your CBSE class XII textbook and NCRT books
At the heart of your seeking knowledge lies the book reading. Books give you the detailed explanation of what you learnt in class. There are many topics that you cannot understand fully in class. Only your textbook can help you out then. NCRT books are very concise books so some time you feel problem in understanding the concept for this you can follow some other author books for reference, and your main book remain NCRT for CBSE class XII . there must be a perfect balance between your notes and your main book
Discuss the concepts you learnt with your friends.
Discussing concepts and numerical that you have learned helps in retaining them in memory and better understanding the subject of CBSE class XII. It also helps in correcting yourself. Sometimes it happens that one makes a certain concept about a thing and this concept turns out to be incorrect later. You can detect your faults very fast just by discussing. But avoid combine studies as it kills lot of time
Listen to the teacher carefully in your school and coaching class it is very important habit
Teachers just don't talk about boring topics but also about their experiences related with the particular topic which is very important to build a better depth in the subject. You should try to learn from other people's experience because life is too short to learn from your own experience. You can obviate difficulties just by learning from the experience of the experienced people.
Have good relations with teacher and always give respect to your teacher
This is important to gain good marks in CBSE class XII. Although you should not count on this fully but having good relations with teacher helps you to understand the subject and to discuss your CBSE class XII problems .Don't hesitate to ask questions from teachers.
No question is a stupid question. Asking questions not only helps you to understand but also refreshes the mind of those who already know the answer. Teachers generally love to have questions from students. Moreover, asking questions shows that the student is following the lecture and is really interested in studies. It makes a good impression on teacher and increase your learning ability

Mathematics Olympiad
Mathematics Olympiad activity on a national level has been one of the NBHM's major initiatives since 1986. of the main purposes of this activity is to spot mathematical talent amant High School children. NBHM has a taken on the responsibility for selecting and training the India team for participating in the International Olympiad every year.
For the purpose of administering Olympiad contest, the country has been divided in 16 regions. The Olympiad Program leading to India's participation in the International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO) consists of following stages:
Stage 1: Regional Mathematics Olympiad (RMO): RMO is held normally between September and the first Sun of December each year in different regions in the country. All school students of Class XI are eligible to app for RMO. This Olympiad is a 3-hour written test containing about 6 to 7 problems. On the basis of the performance in the RMO, a certain number of students from each region is selected to appear for the second stage.
Stage 2: Indian National Mathematics Olympiad (INMO): INMO is held on the first Sunday of February e year at various centers in different regions. Only students selected on the basis of RMO from different regions are eligible to appear for INMO. INMO is a 4-hour written test; the question paper is set centrally and is com throughout the country. The top 30-35 performers in INMO receive a certificate of Merit.
Stage 3: International Mathematics Olympiad Training Camp (IMOTC): The INMO certificates awardees are invited to a month long Training Camp in May/June each year. In addition, INMO awardees of the previous year who h satisfactorily gone through postal tuition throughout the year are invited again to a second round of training. On basis of a number of selection tests through the Camp, a team of the best six students is selected from the combined pool of junior and senior batch participants to represent India in the International Mathematics Olympiad.
Stage 4 :International Mathematics Olympiad (IMO): The six-member team selected at the end of the Camp accompanied by a leader and a deputy leader represent India at the IMO that is normally held in July in a differ country. IMO consist of two 4-and-a-half hour written tests held on two days with a gap of at least one day Travel to IMO venue and return takes about two weeks. Student of the India team who receive gold, silver a bronze medals at IMO receive from NBHM a cash prize of Rs. 5000/-, Rs. 4000/- and Rs. 3000/- respective during the following year at a formal ceremony at the end of the Training Camp.

IITJEE 2011 CUTOFF MARKS AND PAPER ANALYSIS
Iitjee 2011 held on 10th April approximately 5 lack student appears in this examination .this time the question pattern is different from the last time in several aspects . one in the first paper –I the total number of questions are approximately 69 in each subject 23 question are asked the new thing in this paper is there is no passage type question asked and the assertion and reason type of questions are also missing from the question paper .the paper –I and paper-II both consist of integer type of question and the total number of integer type of question approximately are 36 means iit increase the weight in integral type question .in this exam the the different pattern of question are single choice correct objective, more than one choice ,integral type and match the following (only in paper-II) THE MISSING questions are assertion and reason, thought type question .
The level of question is mixed in math one can say 40%question is difficult, in physic 35% is difficult and in chemistry 30% question are little difficult .from the student point of view this paper is very balanced except few question all question can be solve if a student have completed the NCERT books .student are very happy to see the question but there are lots of question in which there is a possibility to make the mistake
Now come to the point of selection both the paper are of 240 marks each means 480 marks paper-II is little bit difficult than paper-I ,and the expected CUTTOFF may be 180 marks that is 37.7%.in this year iitjee committee decided to give the solution of the all questions in their website after 48 hours of the examination so student can expect on Tuesday they can check there marks and can able to predict there rank. If you want to get under 1000 rank than your marks must be more than 265 .
